July 2006- Mr. Solotoff completes a 5 day trial in Morris County involving alimony, child support and
equitable distribution issues.  Also at issue were allegations of cohabitation and the enforceability of an
un-signed mediation agreement.  In the decision received in January 2007, his client received alimony for the
duration that she sought though the husband sought to pay no alimony.  Additionally, the court declined to
enforce the unsigned mediation agreement, invalidated a quit claim deed signed by the wife to the husband's
home and equitably distributed property, including the home, which the husband opposed distributing.  In
addition, the court awarded Mr. Solotoff's firm a $50,000 counsel fee.

August 2005 - Mr. Solotoff completed and received the decision after a 6 day contested default hearing
(trial).  During this case, his client learned that her husband had a undisclosed criminal record, lied about his
age, marital history, educational history and job, history, etc.  As such, a motion was made to amend the
Complaint to seek an annulment as well as to seek tort damages for deceit, conversion of funds and emotional
distress.  After the hearing, Mr. Solotoff's client was granted an annulment and sole custody of her child (the
joint legal custody agreed upon prior to the discovery of the lies was set aside).  She was also awarded
$150,000 in punitive damages on the tort claims.
