                                      BIO OF ERIC S. SOLOTOFF, ESQ.

Eric Solotoff has been Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law
Attorney.

From the time that he began practicing, Eric Solotoff has concentrated his practice on family
law litigation and related matters including matrimonial actions, appeals, child custody,
alimony and child support, paternity, grandparent visitation, domestic violence and the
negotiation and preparation of pre-nuptial, separation, and property settlement agreements.
Additionally, his LL.M. in taxation provides a unique background for dealing with both simple
and complex financial matters.  Mr. Solotoff has also completed the American Bar Association’
s Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute.  He is quite familiar with current technology and
software and attempts to incorporate it into his practice, whenever possible, to provide the
best result attainable for the client.  In addition, he has been involved in more than 30
appellate matters during his career including reported decisions in Crews v. Crews, Moriarty
v. Bradt, Wilde v. Wilde, Brawer v. Brawer and Eaton v. Grau.  Mr. Solotoff has achieved an
AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell which indicates very high to preeminent legal ability and
very high ethical standards as established by confidential opinions from members of the Bar.  
He has also received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by his
peers for inclusion in the New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Stars Edition which was published
in the August 2006 New Jersey Monthly Magazine, will be included in the April 2007 New
Jersey Monthly Magazine as a Super Lawyer,  the 10 Leaders program in Matrimonial Law
in New Jersey Under the Age of 45 as well as the 10 Under 40 Program for Family and
Matrimonial Law.  

Mr. Solotoff is a member of the American Bar Association and New Jersey Bar Association,
Family Law Sections. He is also a member of the Morris, Essex and Bergen County Bar
Associations.  He serves on the Executive Committee of the Essex County Bar Association.   
He is also a Master in the New Jersey Family Law Inns of Court.  Mr. Solotoff has served as
a panelist for the Essex, Morris, Bergen and Union County Matrimonial Early Settlement
Panels. He has also lectured on family law and related topics to judges at Judicial College,
before the bar groups as well as in law school and paralegal training classes.  Mr. Solotoff has
also served as a judge for Rutgers Law School’s Moot Court competition.

Mr. Solotoff is married and the father of one.
